Hetong Zhang is a Beijing-based filmmaker working across film and interactive media. His short Van Pianist (2025) was selected for the Royal Anthropological Institute’s RAI Film Festival (UK) and won the Grand Jury Award for Best Documentary Short at the Edmonton International Film Festival (Canada). His earlier work includes The Door (2021).
